Rick Cain Takes Overall Honors |
The Kentucky Senior Golf Association is proud to announce that Rick Cain has been named the 2011 KSGA Player of the Year. The award is given to the individual amassing the most points based on performance in various state and national events.
Cain secured the top spot by collecting points at several events in the 2011 season including
1st Place at the KSGA Spring Special and was champion of the Senior Match Play Tournament. He also finished in the top ten at the Senior Amateur Championship, the Prudential Kentucky Senior Open and the KSGA Fall Special.
Cain was recognized at the Kentucky Senior Golf Association Board of Directors meeting held today at Golf House Kentucky in Louisville. Other players recognized at the meeting were:
Dennis Long - Player of the Year, 55-59 Age Division
Rick Cain - Player of the Year, 60-64 Age Division
Allan Fugate - Player of the Year, 65-69 Age Division
Don Wood - Player of the Year, 70 & Older Division
