The field of players at the 2011 KGA Members Play Day at The Club at Olde Stone were treated to a brisk spring day and a great golf course to begin the season. After several months of recovery from last year's flood, Olde Stone has returned to it's original design, with a couple of adjustments, and will once again occupy one the top spots in the Commonwealth.
This year’s version of the popular Kentucky Golf Calendar is now in circulation. The beautiful four color piece features photos, recaps, and tournament schedules for Kentucky’s family of golf organizations (Kentucky Golf Association, Kentucky PGA, Kentucky Senior Golf Association, Kentucky Golf Foundation, and the Pepsi Junior Tour).
Registration for all 6 of the 2011 KSGA Tournaments will begin on Monday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. Click HERE to register online. 2011 KSGA Membership Registration Now Available
2011 Tournament Schedule Set
2011 will mark the 26th season for the Kentucky Senior Golf Association (KSGA), and membership registration is now underway. Membership starts at $40, and includes a bag tag, cap, and playing privileges in 2011 KSGA tournaments. The 2011 KSGA Tournament Schedule has also been set, with some of Kentucky's finest golf facilities slated to host events. To view the schedule, click HERE.
The Kentucky Senior Golf Association was organized in 1986 and annually provides playing opportunities for its members. It is open to Kentucky resident amateur golfers age 55 and older.

Kentucky Golf Association Extends Contract with USGA's Golf Handicap and Information Network
The Kentucky Golf Association is pleased to announce the extension of an agreement with the Golf Handicap and Information Network (GHIN) to provide handicapping services for members of the Kentucky Golf Association (KGA) through 2013. The KGA has utilized the GHIN Service since 1988, and currently provides handicapping services for approximately 27,000 individuals at over 195 member clubs across Kentucky.
The KGA, formed in 1911, is Kentucky’s governing body for amateur golf, and enjoys a very close working relationship with the Kentucky Section PGA in providing services to amateur golfers in Kentucky.
The KPGA is proud to announce that sales of the 2011 KPGA Tee Pass are underway. The KPGA Tee Pass is a booklet listing 115 golf facilities offering discounted golf, and many of Kentucky’s top public facilities are included, with each facility offering reduced rates to KPGA Tee Pass customers.
"We are very pleased with our finished product," said Mark Hill, the KPGA’s Executive Director. "The 2011 KPGA Tee Pass, established by PGA professionals in Kentucky, offers golfers the opportunity to enjoy many of our state’s finest golf courses at reduced rates. This year’s version is our best to date, and we are proud to offer it."
The KGPA is also proud to once again offer a referral program for individuals purchasing a KPGA Tee Pass whereby they can earn free Titleist Pro V1 golf balls for referring new customers.

KSGA Member Cantrell Wins Society of Seniors Event
The Kentucky Senior Golf Association congratulates Joe Cantrell on his win in the Super Senior Division at the Society of Seniors Ralph Bogart Winter Invitational at Old Trail Golf Club at Jonathan's Landing in Jupiter, Florida. The event was conducted December 1-3.
